This is one of a series of animations created for a campaign promoting a revamped MSN Search.
It showcases an olympic weightlifter performing a clean and jerk lift. I studied clips of a number weightlifters (including a rather burly Iranian) to create an animation of a heavyset weightlifter. Once it was passed along to the developer, a few enhancements were made to the animation, including a slight sway at full extension and a nice bounce when the barbel hits the floor.
